Web development

Once the design is complete, the site must be developed to make it a reality. We use modern technologies such as web standards to ensure quality while lowering costs.

From design to your website

No matter how beautiful, sketches and mock-ups will not help a potential customer. To reach him or her, you'll need a real, working web site. Web development is the process of creating the site from the raw materials.

To develop effective sites, many things must be considered:

  • What different browsers will users view the site with? And should the browser's bugs be avoided?
  • Users browse at many different screen resolutions — how will the site appear?
  • How will the site behave with the fonts the user has on their computer?
  • Can users with disabilities make effective use of the site?
  • How will search engines access the site?
  • Will it be easy to update the site in future?

Because of minor differences in their implementation of web standards, web pages must be carefully tested with a variety of browsers to ensure that they look their best. We always test pages with Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, and 8, as these browsers have notoriously patchy standards support. We also test with a representative selection of modern browsers, including Firefox and Google Chrome.
